            Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born on the 14 of March in the year 1879 in the town of Wurttemberg, Germany. Einstein had begun his school career in Munich. From age six to thirteen Einstein took violin lessons, also he had religious education at home where he was taught Judaism. Around 1891 he studied mathematics, to be specific calculus. In addition to the theory of relativity, Einstein is also known for his contributions to the development of the quantum theory. Einstein's early work on the theory of relativity dealt only with systems or observers in uniform motion with respect to one another and is referred to as the special theory of relativity. Einstein died in Princeton on April 18, 1955.

Sir Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton was born on the 4th in January in the year 1643 in Wools Thorpe, Lincolnshire, England. Newton died on the 31st in March in the year of 1727 in London, England. Isaac Newton was born in the manor house of Wools Thorpe, near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Newton came from a family of farmers but never knew his father, also named Isaac Newton, who died in October 1642, three months before his son was born. Although Isaac's father owned property and animals which made him quite a wealthy man, he was completely uneducated and could not sign his own name. Newton's contributions to science include the universal law of gravitation, the development of a whole new field in mathematics called calculus, and his famous three laws of motion.

The Light Bulb

The light bulb was invented in 1879.

It was invented by Thomas Edison. He had experimented with different filaments until he ha found the one that had glowed for the longest. Now the light bulb can be found in every house hold in the world.

Reflecting Telescope

The reflecting telescope was made in 1668 by a Sir Isaac Newton.

One day his two children grabbed some mirrors and were playing with them and when they put the mirrors in a cretin angle he noticed that a tree seemed closer.  So he started experimenting with it and made the first reflecting telescope.  Thanks to him we can now see into space and see other plants.  Some simple inventions like the camera and even more advanced inventions like the Hubble telescope that NASA now uses would not have been able to be created without the reflecting telescope.

Mars rover freed from sand dune

In Pasadena, California on the 5th of June this year at 10:35 a.m., the Mars Rover wheels were freed from a sand dune. When images of the rover were sent down to the scientists they cheered with joy. The working rover over on Mars was 400$ million dollars to build. The rover, Opportunity’s’ wheels started slipping on April 26 during a 295-foot trip that was planned. It tried going over a sand dune that was over a foot high but it got stuck in the soft soil. This has to do with science because without science we wouldn’t have been able to build the rover, or even send it up to Mars.

Scientist have found and decoded the DNA of a bear that died 40 thousand years ago.  Its species died 10,000 years ago. It is close to our DNA that is Neanderthals.  We could clone it and make one.
